Admission into all the National Certifcate Education programs above shall be handled by the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations.

ONE-YEAR SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAMME IN:

  • Professional Diploma in Education (PDE)
    One year full-time study of 2 Semesters
    or Vacation/Weekend Programme (6 Semesters)

  • Diploma in Computer Studies     -   6 Months
    Certificate in Computer Studies -   3 Months
    Literacy in Computer Operation  -   3 Months

  • Diploma in Arabic & Islamic Studies     -   2 Years
    Certificate in Arabic & Islamic Studies -   1 Year
    Executive Qur'anic Course  - 1 Year

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

SSCE/NECO or GCE O/LEVEL with pass in 5 Subject including English Language, 3 of which must be at the credit level at one sitting or 4 Credit at two sittings.

Complete TC II Certificate with 3 Credits/Merits in relevant Subjects.

Federal Craft Training Certificate, NABTEB Certificate with 5 Credits Passes including English Language and Mathematics, 3 Credit at one sitting or 4 Credits at two sitting in relevant subjects.
Candidates with the Senior Islamic Studies Certificate in Arabic & Islamic Studies from recognized Institution or Higher Islamic Studies Center with at least 3 Credit passes including English Language.

NOTE:

  1. ALL Candidate majoring in English Language must Possess at least a Pass in Literature in English.
  2. it is expected that PRE-NCE candidate must Remediate any Deficiency relating to the matriculation requirement of the College of Education (as contained in MPCE JAMB BROCHURE) during the preliminary years.
